Can I book your services if I live outside of Orange County, CA?
Yes! Please send a message here to receive a travel rate based on your location and organizational needs.
Can I hire you for individual areas instead of a whole room?
Yes. If you have a specific problem area, like just the pantry but not the whole kitchen, then I can certainly help.
How involved do I need to be in the organizing process?
The more involved you are with the purging stage, the happier you’ll be with the outcome. There’s no point to storing and organizing items you’ll never use again! But after the “what stays and what goes” portion, it’s totally up to you how hands on you want to be. I always recommend client keep the momentum going by sorting through other areas of the house while I work on the original space. Do you help with donating or reselling items?
I will happily take any items you want to donate. Worried you got bit a little too hard by the purging bug? Don’t worry, I hold on to all items for two weeks before dropping them off at Goodwill. I do not assist in reselling your items though.
Do you install shelving or any interior design elements to the space?
If you have a modular closet with existing components (shelves, rods, etc.) I will rearrange as needed, but I do not install any built-ins or furniture. If you are looking to have those installed I will happily consult on what layout I recommend.
I love adding a decor accessory here and there to make a space look polished and “boutique.” Do you have any little picture frames, vases, or knick knacks you aren’t currently using? Set them aside for our appointment and I can integrate them into the space. If this is an aesthetic you know you like then we can discuss adding decor to the shopping list as well.
What if I don’t have enough dumpster space for everything we throw away?
I will coordinate a junk removal or hazardous waste removal with a third party for an additional cost when necessary.
Do you professionally clean the spaces you organize?
After we purge and sort, I will wipe down the surfaces that I’m putting your things back on with a light surface cleaner (diluted vinegar) and a microfiber cloth. So no professional cleaning. I would recommend having the area cleaned after our session so you’ll enjoy the final product that much more!
